How can I troubleshoot a two-line display scientific calculator that will not turn on?

When the memory is filled on a two-line display scientific calculator, often times it will fail to power on. Follow the steps below to reset the calculator:

1) Hold down [CLEAR] and [ON] key at the same time.
2) Release both keys.
3) Once the keys have been released, the calculator should display a blinking cursor.

Please Note: If the blinking cursor is not displayed, press the [ON] key to turn the scientific calculator on.

If the calculator still does not power on, please see Warranty Information on Texas Instruments Products Purchased in the United States and contact Texas Instruments by filling out the TI-Cares™ Customer Assistance Form or by calling 1-800-TI-CARES (1-800-842-2737) Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Friday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Central Time to obtain service information.
