How do I find the amplitude of a periodic function on the TI-Nspire CAS Family Products?
The amplitude of a periodic function is one-half the difference between the largest possible value of the function and the smallest possible value. For example, for f1(x) = sin(x), the largest possible value of y is 1 and the smallest possible value is -1, so the amplitude is 1. The TI-Nspire CAS does not have a function allowing to find the amplitude of a periodic function.
Please see the TI-Nspire CAS family guidebooks for additional information.
