How do I calculate numeric integrals using the TI-36X Pro scientific calculator?

 

To find the numeric integral of x^3+2x from 1 to 3 using the TI-36X Pro scientific calculator, please follow the steps below:

  1. Press [2nd] and the key directly under [ln log] to display the numeric integral template.
  2. The first two boxes (top and bottom) are the upper and lower limits; in the bottom box, enter [1].
  3. Scroll up and enter [3] in the top box.
  4. Scroll to the right and enter [x] [x^] [3] [->] [+] [2] [x].
  5. Press [enter].

The displayed answer will show 28.
