How do I determine the version of software my license belongs to by using the license number?
The current versions of Texas Instruments software use a 31-character license to activate. The first three letters of a license number will allow you to determine what type of software the license pertains to and will also help you determine the license model. The chart below will help you determine the type/model of software you own.

Here is an example of a license number: BEBXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXXX The first three letters ‘BEB’ indicate that this is a TI-Nspire CAS Teacher Software Single User License.
