Using my laptop, what is the best way to charge my TI-Nspire family handheld with rechargeable battery?
For laptop users, the optimal configuration for charging a TI-Nspire family handheld with a rechargeable battery includes having the unit connected to a laptop via USB, and having the laptop's power adapter connected as well. When laptops are not connected to a power adapter however, power-savings options may dictate that the laptop runs on battery power only. As a result, some laptops will not supply power through the USB port and therefore will not power a TI-Nspire family handheld with a rechargeable battery.
